Vueling - How much luggage is included?

Luggage rules are different for each type of flight. Below you can read what is included on Vueling flights and what you can book for an extra charge.

Quick summary

 Small hand luggage (40x30x20cm): always included

 Cabin luggage (55x40x20cm): not included

Checked luggage:

• Non-flexible flights booked until 15 December 2025: 25 kg checked luggage included per person. Extra bookable via Vueling.
• Non-flexible flights booked from 16 December 2025: Checked luggage not included. Bookable via Vueling.

Vueling luggage rules (for travellers aged two and over)

Adding checked luggage

You can add checked luggage during the booking process or after booking via Vueling. The price is set by Vueling and may change. You will always see the current price during the booking process or in Vueling’s self-service portal.

Once you have added checked luggage, you cannot reduce the number of kilos or cancel the checked luggage free of charge.

Important information

• If your checked baggage exceeds the weight limit, extra charges apply at the airport.
• Are you bringing hand luggage and cabin baggage? Together, they may weigh a maximum of 10kg.
  
  

 Ski carriage

If you want to add ski or snowboard carriage, you can add this via the website of Vueling. The costs are approximately £45 per person per flight. Please note that your ski carriage can have a maximum weight of 20kg.

Have you booked a transfer via Sunweb? If you are bringing ski carriage, please select “Ski transfer including ski luggage” during the booking steps or in My Sunweb, so that the transfer company is informed that you are bringing ski carriage. You can make this adjustment up to 7 days before departure via My Sunweb.

Ski carriage can consist of:

• 1 pair of skis, 1 pair of boots, 1 pair of poles, ski helmet, or
• 1 snowboard with 1 pair of boots, ski helmet

 Luggage rules babies and children

Baby (up to and including 1 year)

• 10 kg cabin luggage included
• In addition to cabin luggage, an extra bag of up to 5 kg may be taken for baby items
• No checked luggage included
• Two items can be taken free of charge, such as: a foldable buggy, stroller or car seat (maxi-cosi). Depending on the flight, the buggy may be returned at the aircraft door or via the baggage belt. Please ask the cabin crew for details
• Babies do not have their own seat by default and travel on the lap of one of the parents

Children (from 2 years)

• Follow the standard luggage rules as stated above
• You can check in one stroller per child free of charge. A car seat can only be checked in as special baggage, at an additional cost
