Can I take a wheelchair/mobility scooter on the plane?

Modified on Thu, 16 Jan at 11:29 AM

You can bring a wheelchair or mobility scooter on holiday, but you must register it in advance with the airline, the accommodation, and, if needed, the transfer company.

Do you want to bring a wheelchair or mobility scooter? Fill in the special luggage form on My Sunweb. Log in, open your booking, and click on 'Add medical luggage, sports luggage or a pet here' on the right side of the booking overview. We will handle the registration for you.

At the check-in desk, you must check in the wheelchair. From that moment, the airline will provide you with a loan wheelchair.

Transfer

Always let us know if you are bringing a wheelchair for the transfer. Sometimes there are extra costs involved, which you will need to pay yourself.
