Yes, this is possible. Below you can find more information about the differences between taking it as hand luggage or checked luggage.
Medical luggage in hand luggage
If you take medical luggage with you in your hand luggage, this does not have to be reported in advance, unless it concerns a medical device. You do have to bring a medical certificate from your doctor. The medical hand luggage falls under the standard hand luggage allowance of the airline you are flying with. Here you can find more information about easyJet luggage rules and Jet2 luggage rules.
Are you bringing a medical device? Please send us an email including the following information:
- What is it?
- What's the brand?
- The weight and dimensions
Medical baggage in checked luggage
When you take medical checked luggage with you on holiday, it is important that you inform us. Please send us an email including the following information:
1. How much luggage (kilos) are you taking with you?
2. What kind of medical luggage is it?
3. What are the dimensions of the additional suitcase? (if applicable)
