Can I bring my pet?

Modified on Mon, 17 Aug at 10:50 AM

In some cases it is possible to bring your pet on holiday.

Flights

The rules for travelling with a pet can be different per airline. You can check the rules on the website of the airline you are flying with.

Are you flying with easyJet? Due to our contractual agreements, you cannot take a pet with you, even if the airline's website says otherwise.

Accommodation & transfer

If you are bringing your pet on holiday, it is important to inform us for the accommodation and transfer. To do this, fill in the special luggage form in My Sunweb. Log in, open your booking, and click on 'Add medical luggage, sports luggage, or a pet' in the right-hand menu to access the form.

Some accommodations allow pets. If pets are permitted, this will be mentioned under 'Facilities' for the specific accommodation. Please note that extra costs may apply, which must be paid at the reception upon arrival.

Pets are not always allowed on the transfer bus. If permitted, they must be transported in a carrier, placed with the luggage in the bus's storage area. Due to European regulations, pets are not allowed inside the bus. Additional fees may apply for transporting a pet on the transfer bus.

Good to know!

  • Your pet must be microchipped and have the required vaccinations.
  • Are you travelling with an assistance or service dog? Your dog must have a valid certificate. Contact us to register your assistance or service dog. You can find more information about help and assistance at the airport here.
