Can I get assistance at the airport?

Yes, it is possible to receive assistance at the airport, if you need it. You need to register this before your holiday.

Types of assistance

There are three different types of assistance:

1.    You have difficulties walking (long distances) and need to borrow a wheelchair but can climb stairs

2.    You need to borrow a wheelchair and enter the plane via a wheelchairlift (Ambulift). You can walk a few steps but cannot climb stairs

3.    You cannot leave the wheelchair and need full assistance

How do I register my need for assistance?

If you are also bringing an (electrical) wheelchair 

You can register your need for assistance along with the wheelchair via the special luggage form on My Sunweb. You can find more information here.

If you are not bringing your own wheelchair

Contact the airline directly to request assistance.

•    You can go to the assistance desk at the airport after you've dropped off your luggage and checked-in

•    When you request assistance, this is for both the outward and return journey
