What is a guarantee cabin?

Cruise lines offer the possibility to book a guaranteed cabin, you will pay less for a guaranteed cabin than a regular cabin. Compare it to seats in a low-cost airline. If you do not select seats, you will save money and the airline can determine where you sit. This is the same with a guarantee cabin at a cruise line.

It is important to know that you are always guaranteed to get the cabin type, or better, that you have booked. If for example you have booked a guaranteed outside cabin, you will receive an outside cabin or perhaps a balcony cabin.

If you opt for a guaranteed cabin, you will hear your cabin number when you check in. You cannot change this afterwards.
