What are the requirements for renting a car?

Do you want to rent a car during your holiday? Then you need to meet the following requirements:

  • You have had a valid driver’s license for at least 1 year
  • The main driver must have a credit card in their name for the deposit. This is mandatory. Make sure you also know the code of your credit card


Please note: check the minimum and maximum age for renting a car. Unfortunately, no exceptions can be made to these rules. You can find more information in the car rental terms in step 1 of the booking process or in My Sunweb under 'Book additional extras'.
