In most cases, you can pay the deposit either in cash or by credit card.
Paying in cash
If you're paying in cash, always ask for a receipt so you’ve got proof of payment.
Paying by credit card
When you use a credit card, the deposit amount is reserved—not charged. This means the money will be temporarily held, so make sure there’s enough available credit on your card. At the end of your holiday, the reserved amount will be released automatically, as long as the state of your accommodation is approved. Please keep in mind that if you paid the deposit by credit card, it can take a few weeks before the reserved funds are released. This depends on the credit card provider.
Dealing with deposits is always between you and the accommodation provider. Sunweb has no influence on this and can therefore can not be held accountable for conflicting opinions regarding the deposit between you and the accommodation provider.
