Can I cancel one or more of the people in my booking?

Modified on Mon, 6 Oct at 10:44 AM

Would you like to cancel one or more people from your booking? You can do this via My Sunweb. Both fellow travellers and the main booker can be cancelled here.

How to cancel one or more travellers in My Sunweb?

1. Open your booking in My Sunweb

2. Click on 'View cancellation options' at the bottom right

3. Then choose 'Cancel one or more travellers (partial cancellation)'

4. Tick the traveller(s) you want to cancel and click ‘Continue’.

5. You will immediately see the cancellation costs for the selected traveller(s).

6. Would you like a different room type or room allocation? Let us know your preference.

7. If the main booker is selected, enter the name and email address of the new main booker.

8. Confirm the cancellation and submit your request.

Your request will be processed within 3 working days. You will then receive a cancellation invoice by email.

Good to know!

  • Cancelling is not free of charge. Cancellation fees will be applied in accordance with the Sunweb terms and conditions. Would you like to know the cancellation costs before confirming your cancellation?

Follow the steps above and tick the box for a quotation in the last step

  • If a traveller cancels, the price for the remaining travellers may go up. This is because fewer people will stay in the room, apartment, or chalet. These extra charges are called additional costs. If the total price becomes higher than the original booking, we will give a discount so the total price stays the same (or lower).

  • If cancelling a traveller results in an overpayment on a fully paid booking, the extra amount will be refunded to the main booker. Sunweb is not responsible for splitting costs between travellers.
